Post by gotmlifbk »

Hello,
I have purchased the video studio 11 plus upgrade. I have video studio 11 and I want to upgrade.

Here is the problem, when I install the upgrade and I put in the Plus serial # its ok when it ask for my previous serial # for 11 I get a message that says I can only upgrade from version 10 down. Why is this and how do I get the plus version?

Thanks JK

JK -- do you not have a version of VS earlier than your current VS11? If so, you use that.

If you have VideoStudio 11 then you need to try and get a refund and go to this page

Also I did a search and could not find anything about upgrading from 11 to 11+. Why is the upgrade only good for version 10 and below? Why do they not include 11 in cause like me wants to upgrade to 11+ to get the extra overlay fields?

Why should I have to get a refund? Why not just give me version 11+ and call it even?

A lot of users appear to have made the mistake of purchasing the standard version rather than the plus version. You're best option is to contact customer services to see if they can offer you a special deal.

If so many people are buying the lower end product to try it out first to see if it is what we want and, thinking we can upgrade at a later time.

Why not just create an upgrade for version 11. It makes sense and your customers would be a lot happier. Don't you think?

None of us work for Corel, and that includes Steve. We are all just users who volunteer our services here to help out. So none of us have any say in Corel policy on upgrades etc.

That being said, I had been under the impression that there was an upgrade path from VS11 to VS11+...
