Hello all,
I am fairly clueless when it comes to technical matters, but I have been editing videos and burning to DVDs for a few years now using VS9 with very few issues.
However, I recently shot a stop motion movie using my Canon HV20, imported it to my computer using a firewire and proceeded to edit it with VS9. The file had these project properties...
NTSC drop frame (29.97 fps)
MPEG files
24 Bits, 720 x 480, 29.97 fps
Lower Field First
(DVD-NTSC), 4:3
Video data rate: Variable (Max. 8000 kbps)
LPCM Audio, 48000 Hz, Stereo
When I created the disc on Roxie DVD creator, the disc would play fine until the end, at the point when the image started to fade out and the music would come up, the video would start skipping repeatedly. the film was only about a minute long, so it would happen at about the 1 minute mark. I've tried changing the song, modifying the placement of the final image and song, changing from DV+R to DVD-R etc, but nothing seems to work. I have included my computer and operating system properties. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you
video skipping at end using VS9

Was the "Song you included in MP3 format? if so try converting it beforehand to WAV (Audacity - FREE audio editor)
