I am working on a Christmas project that needs to be in the mail by Tuesday or Wednesday. I am having major problems with the DVD Movie Factory 6. I have a project all saved and keep trying to bring it up today to finish it. It won't let me. I can't even save it to any disk. I keep getting this as my error:
C:\DOCUME~1|TAUNIE~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\1261-appcompat.txt. I have emptied my temporary files folder and still this is there. What else can I try to do. I am running windows XP. I am not sure what other info you need. Please let me know if you need more. I am so frustrated I am not thinking right.
Thanks so much.

Sorry, RdWngsFn, but we really do need more information to get a clear handle on what's going wrong for you.rdwngsfn wrote:Ok I think I have it all. ...
Please take us step by step through what exactly happens after you click to launch DVDMF6.
"C:\DOCUME~1|TAUNIE~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\1261-appcompat.txt" is an error file generated by the compatibility mode of Windows XP when a program crashes unexpectedly. It allows Windows to report the error to Microsoft (if you choose to send a copy of the file).
What you need to do is to focus on exactly what you were doing when the problem happened. It could be caused by any number of other things, and a detailed account of what precisely you were doing before the error occurred is absolutely vital to tracking down the cause of your problem.
We're here to help, but you do need to help us by giving us full details of your problem.
