I have just loaded VS11+ from a CD on to a new computer. I checked the website and found 3 updates. Are these updates all discrete? Should I start with the oldest and move up? The most recent one (Hot Fix 01) instructs us to "manually" delete the VS11+ files/folder, install the Hot Fix, then "reinstall" VS11+. That doesn't seem to make a lot of sense ... wouldn't that also delete the two previous updates? Can someone please advise?

The Hot Fix, as it states is to correct the failed install of the AVControl SDK. Not everyone has this problem, if when you install VS11+, and you get an error about the AVControl SDK, you would then need to install that Hot Fix. I have not.
So a quick answer, if you are going to install the Hot Fix, then yes do that before installing any other patches, or the Power Pack.
Now as for the update and power pack, install the update first, followed by the power pack. Oh did you manage to get the power pack downloaded? I just checked and the FTP for that is still (it's been a few days now) down.

Own JVC Everio need update I think
Hi, New to VideoStudio coming from Pinnicle. So far very unhappy with the terrible customer service. No way to contact, cannot seem to download the update I need to have for my camera, and I purchased a copy of 11 thinking I could purchase the update and get latest software. Well so far nothing is working the way it should. I cannot update 11 to plus because it doesn't recognize 11 as an eligible up grade application. So I spent another $99 dollars on the 11 plus full version. Still cannot update the the program to recognize my TOD file. Please help? I live in Germany working for the US Army and I only hope eventually I can get some of the money I have spent back. I need the update HOW!
