Unfortunately, I did not catch it in time to retrieve it from the garbage file. Can I get it back? I upgraded from the free trial online, and used Paypal.

Welcome to the forums,
Do you have the activation key? You need that too. Since you activated a Trial version, just go to Ulead's site, download the trial version. Install it, then enter the activation key. However you need to be connected to the internet to activate.

No.... we are all users like yourself, you willl need to contact the supplier to get them to send you a new key.kacky wrote:Thanks for the welcome. I haven't found the information, but I do have the sales record from Paypal. It says "Softwrap".
Is there anyone who can view that info and give me a security key?

Lost Serial Numbers and Software.
They were contacted right away but I understand I will not hear from them until tomorrow. I know who you guys are. Who else would even be talking to me on a weekend! Just to clarify, I do save those numbers, but when the computer came back from the shop, the file I use for that purpose had reverted back to an earlier date. I do not generally save hard copies because I have very limited space and would quickly be buried in paper. if I had understood that my passwords/serial numbers file would have been compromised, I would have backed that up to cd, thumb or at least printed it out. From now on, I will slip a sheet of paper in with my stack of software cd's and use it for all important numbers from the software I buy online,
I wonder why I never noticed an option to register the software? I usually do it. In fact under my account, it only has last night's free trial, not the earlier one.

Might not help much with your current problem but to prevent a similar situation in the future, as per my earlier link, it is a good idea to save copies onto DVD discs. Your hard drive can pack up at any time and so is not the best place to keep important stuff.
This not only applies to passwords and copies of set up programs, it applies to anything you consider important such as Word documents, Spreadsheets, Address Books, Photographs, Music and so on.
