moving a video overlay
is it possible to move an overlay image. simular to the youtube video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZBA0SKmQy8

Are you talking about the faces? If so I must first ask, how patient are you? To do this with VS would be a verrrry looong, process. You would need to do this on a frame-by-frame basis. If your in a PAL TV area, then that would mean 25 frames for every second.
I think you would need something along the lines of this..
Ulead Video Graphics Lab. It is actually 2 programs, Video Paint, and CG Infinity. With Video Paint, (a rotoscoping program) you could do this type of an effect. Howver again this is a frame at a time. Oh, and it does not work with Vista.
Or maybe this one..
