Printing direct to DVD with Moviemaker5 & Canon PIXMA IP

All, I have just purchased a PIXMA 4500 and be damned if I can select the right printing settings to directly print to the DVD tray. At best, I get a "half moon" print on my disk. I tried to install SP1 for Moviemaker, but it jags in and bangs out. Cant remember the exact error msg.

Is ver 5 capable of printing to this printer's CD tray? If not, will an upgrade to V6 get me out of jail?
