No Audio in MF5 and MF6 won't import/open MP4

I can open MP4 files in MF5, but get no audio while editing.

I can't open MP4 files at all with MF6

Suggestions?

MP 4 doesn't open in mf6.

It does work in mf5 (but in my case without audio)

I open my mp4 files in mf5, saved them as video files, then opened them in mf6.

Did not see any loss in quality.

Yeah, but this isn't really a solution.

I need to know why I'm not getting audio in mf5 and why mf6 doesn't import mp4.

Any suggestions?

Im using Vista on my new Dell laptop. Two megs of ram.
