adding a video track

Regards to MS8 (or MS7 for that matter),
how does one add another video track - it says it has up to 99
but I can't figure out how to get past 3?

To the left of the timeline you have the track name (e.g. Video 1), lock/unlock, hide/show and solo buttons. Right-click on an empty area there (to avoid the buttons) and choose from the context menu.

If you regularly work with a lot of tracks, you can set a larger number in preferences {F6}. This changes the current and subsequent projects. Previously saved projects will retain their original number of tracks until you change it manually.
