MSP8 in WInXP x64 o/s

Has anyone successfully run MSP8 in a WinXP x64 operating system environment? I gave up after popping a Video on the timeline and found that I could not edit the video not to mention could not get the audio part to play.

Any ideas on clues etc would be much appreciated.

Are there codecs or somesuch that need to be loaded to rectify this issue?

In addition when I double click the video file (in other words to edit it) - I get the following Error Message "Error In Initialisation [18004:2:3]". Whatever all that means??

Still no audio on playback either??
