cannot scale my timelines

Ok I have crashed MSP mores ways than I'd like to see. For the longest time, I have had no 1/5th scaling on my "Ruler Unit" the lettering is just light grey. Ok I've gotten past that long ago.

NOW! I cannot scale at all! select "1 Frame" and it looks the same as "1 Second" or "Fit in Window" options.

First I cycled the Program then the Computer to no avail

I have found so far that, If I cut the film into individual frames then the scaling works...sort of.

The other settings like "1 Frame" are still black in color unlike the "1/5th" stting I mention above

WT....? Heeeeelp!

I am using MSP 7 with all the upgrades installed and I'm on WindowsXP for an operating system. 2 GIG DDRRAM etc... a pretty normal/higher-end system.

AHA!
never mind: I had somehow clicked onto "Summary Timeline" from "General Timeline" a feature I never/rarely use

all 's back to normal
