I find it rather odd that for every topic that is started with this type of heading there is no resolve for this problem. I install the software, I click on the program to run, and NOTHING happens. I have looked at the NUMOROUS threads on this problem for both programs and see that there is never a response to resolve this problem. I am intersted in trying this software in order to purchase, but why would I purchase something that doesn't even load.
I have downloaded the software again and again. Still - nothing happens. I have removed entries in the system registery that were on previous posts about this, and still nothing was resolved. I am logged in as administrator for the install and the application execution, and still - yep - you guessed it. Nothing.
Just to recap - an hourglass starts next to the pointer when I click the program. Then it disapears from the arrow and acts as if nothing happened.
So, has there been a resolve to this issue that people are not posting about? Or is this something that has stumped tech support to the point of ignoring the problem?

First we are going to need some more information. Please view This Thread, it provides a guideline to the specific information needed to help you.
For instance not knowing what OS you're running it could be a Vista issue. There have been many people that have problems trying to install the TBYB, (trial) version on Vista. With PI-12 it requires a patch to run on Vista.
With PE4 (Photo Explorer or Photo Express? ), again if you're running Vista, well forget about installing that one. The current release of Photo Explorer will not run on Vista, and the current release of Photo Express is version 6. I don't believe it will either.
