Video Studio - no sound!!!!

Post by vijay@stonesfield.co.uk »

I have used Ulead video software before - a year or so ago on the same pc running windows xp - with no probelms whatsoever and have successfully imported, edited and completed half a dozen projects.

However, on my latest attempt, once I have captured and/or imported clips onto video studio, on the editing tab, there is no sound even though all the imorted clips play sound when played through windows media player etc. This has baffled me and I would appreciate any pointers/help.

Thanks

Awe come-on now, read what it says on that page. I'm no closer to figuring out what may be causing your problem than I was before....

You captured, how, with what devices, to what formats... Get the idea???

:( sorry .... here goes again ......

Captured using "EasyCap Capture USB2.0 Video Adaptor with Audio" - usb input with video and stereo audio jacks connected to output leads of camcorder and captured using Ulead Video Studio SE DVD.

The captured clips are saved as Mpegs which when played through Windows Media Player have the corresponding sound however when imported to Ulead Video Studio do not play any sound whatsoever!!

 :?

Please do this.
With one of the clips actually sitting in the VS timeline right-click it and select "Properties." Post the properties back here so we can see what they are.
