After hearing all the horror stories about download times through smart download, I was wondering is the extra content for VS9 worth it?
What exactly do you get?
Extra filters or transitions, stuff like that?
Any help would be great!.

Bartez, I too had posted something like this, and I wound up emailing technical support about a better way to dowload.
They sent over an email with links to every single serparate component that will download at about speeds of 20.5 (which is not the fastest, but I was able to dowload everything I wanted within 2 hours instead of the 10 hour experience for one piece of content).
The extra stuff is , IMO, worth it. Mostly compromised of extra videos, images, and audio, along with extra Flash animation, and an interesting Sample file that they put in the samples directory to show off some of the extra content. To answer the question once and for all about extra content, here is what you are getting: (That I have noticed)
Under the directory Editing style:
Total of 20 Audio
Total of 46 Images / Overlays
Total of 38 Videos / Flash Animation
Some other items under the Style Folder
Under the directory Samples:
Sample file that opens a project that shows off some of the extra content and ideas
Total of 16 Audio (may be similar to the ones in the Editing style folder)
Total of 46 Items/Overlays in the Decoration Folder
Total of 15 In the Greeting Card Folder
Total of 46 in the Images Folder / Overlays + Pics
Total of 47 Videos/Flash animations in the Video Folder
This is my counts AFTER installing the update packs.
I did not install smart sound as I have version 8 and it looks like the same exact Full Spectrum 22K content.
After looking through all of these I do see that there are some neat pics, overlays, and video to work with, so Yes, it is worth it, especially if you can do it via an email with the links posted to dowload instead of smart dowload.
So, send them an email, hopefully they can send you the info right away (took about 4 hours response time) but alas, it finally got done.
