Welcome to the forums,

Yes this has been presented a few times before. The first thing that always comes to mind with this error, is a TBYB (trial) version. It appears that yours maybe a full version, is that true?

Next would be that you had a TBYB, liked it, and purchased an activation key, and not a full version. In other words you unlocked a trial version. If so, this seems to be a problem with Ulead, now Corel's programs. The patches/updates still see the program as a trial version. The patches will not install on trial versions, even though they state it is for "activated TBYB" versions. For that reason we always recommend against doing this.

Try doing a complete un-install/re-install. Ulead programs leave a lot of files behind. So just doing a simple add/remove programs from the control panel and then re-installing may not correct some issues. Instructions can be found here : Re-installation of Ulead Products

IF you did activate a TBYB, you might try downloading a fresh copy of the TBYB, installing that and trying to activate it.
