HELP with Auto Music PLEASE

Post by stelch »

Hi guys
I have installed VideoStudio 9 with all it's components (including SmartSound). I have also purchased the Indeo Codecs but yet I can not see all the Smart sound tracks sin the Auto Music field. I can only see 2 tracks namely the "Hot and Spicy" and "Island Party" I have also rebuild SmartSound Libriries but still no luck.
PLEASE someone help me out here. I have Window XP SP2.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

SmartSound requires QuickTime to be installed, not Indeo. It used to require V5 of QuickTime, but it may now require a more recent version -- I'm not sure, you may simply want to reinstall QT from the CD or the ESD download.

I had problems with SmartSound not working correctly after uninstalling UVS8, no owned tracks showed up anymore. I fixed that problem by going to Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> Ulead Videostudio 9 -> Change/Remove -> Repair.

No repair option

I have same problem... only 2 songs have left from 26 (VS8).
I have installed only VS upgrade, and SmartSound from BonusPack.

I have VS9 ESD, and ESD version doesn't have Repair option.

Well I found the problem. You must un-install VideoStudio8 and then re-install SmartSound. That did it for me. I have now all the tracks. Thank God!

P.S. THoff I had latest QuickTime so that was not the problem.
