When I try to edit a video I get the message
"visual c++ runtime error"
The programme then closes. I have the project saved but when I open it again and try to start editing again. the same thing happens.
I am using VideoStudio 11 Plus with Vista

There may be something wrong with your video file... What format is your video file, and where did it come from?
Sometimes a "bad" video file will play back fine, but cause trouble when you try to edit or convert it. I call this "sneaky corruption". This seems to be most common with the more compressed formats, and it can can cause all kinds of weird problems/symptoms.
