I am using VideoStudio 11
I deleted some video thumbnails from the library. The program froze in the middle of the delete. When I reppoened the program, there were blank squares with X's through them representing the deleted files and an error posp up "Load From Stream Error"
How do I fix this problem?
Thanks

Removable drives!
Hi mrsciguy,
It sounds like VS can't locate the files corresponding to the thumbnails. Have you moved the files, or were they perhaps on a removable drive or storage device?
If you open a new blank project, can you click on any of the black and white thumbnails and delete them?
There's a feature in VS called "relink checking" which Is enabled by default. If any files are moved, you'll get a prompt to re-link to them, by navigating through your folders and clicking on them. You can disable this feature if you want, which you might choose to do if you are in the habit of importing video onto your timeline or into a project from removable devices.

Hi. If you have not gotten it to work yet, I believe I have a solution for you, and a very simple one. This happened to me and I searched for WEEKS on how to fix it. There are a lot of threads on this, but this was the advice that was given to me by another member here and actually works. Let me know if this solves your problem:
"The library files are called :
VS_Image.dat
VS_Video.dat
VS_Audio.dat
VS_Title.dat
VS_Flash.dat
etc
C:\Documents and Settings\your name\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\10.0
If you delete these files and restart VideoStudio it should recreate them. "
