why are several flash animations missing after powerpack?

Post by perfection »

When i intsalledVS 11 for the first time i found only one preloaded swf animation. After updating with the powerpack i found this section packed with many many more swf animations.....however, many of them are not linked (indicated by the two adjacent yellow mini rectabglesi in the left hand corner of the thumbnail). I am wondering how this has happened and what have i done incorrectly.

Where are these swf animation clips and how can i import them or link to them

A few users have reported "losing" certain items from the libraries - they will still be on your hard drive so you can simply import them back into the library. You will find them located here:
C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio 11\Samples\Video\

Thanks for ther reply

What i mean is whatever is in the folder you mentioned (Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio 11\Samples\Video\) and is showing under the Flash animation drop down selection. But in the thumbnail view of the same there are missing links to clips named Motion02 (all the way upto) MotionD12, MotionF02 (all the way to) MotionF18.
These are the ones that have a missing libk on them and i have searched the entire co puter and the Bonuis CD but they just are not there

Further, swf animation clips MotionF19, 32, 33 are white and blank

This is post update and powerpack install

Would someone pleae check and confirm this if you too have intstalled the powerpack and if they are showing on your VS 11 do zip bundle the missing ones and upload or sent these clips to me - would like to see what i am missing

First all those that you mention are present and work, this is on a XP machine.

Now the latter animations, F19, 32, and 33 do appear as if that is all they are. Try placing a black, or dark color clip on the main timeline, and stretch the duration to about 16 secs. Then place each of those 3 animations on the overlay track. Press play... There they are.. I thought the same as you for a long time. ;)

In Vista, with VS11.5 (i.e. with patch and Power Pack installed) I have Flash samples Motion D1 through to D12 inclusive; and Motion F01 to F37 inclusive. F17 - 19 and F32-33 appear to be blank (or else the motion they are supposed to display is so subtle I cannot see it!! )

EDIT: Just did as you suggested, Ron, with all the above Flash effects, and see what you mean!!!

Since i do not have these animation files wouls it be okay and above board to ask someone who does have them to zip them and send them to me to take a look and retain them with me for future projects.

I nned clips named Motion02 (all the way upto and including MotionD12 and MotionF02 (all the way to) MotionF18. These may be found as mentioned above in the samples > video folder within Ulead Videostudio 11
