Hi all, new to the forum here. I downloaded the DVD mfact plus and I love it. However, there are times more than not that when I go to start thr application, it crashes as well as times when I create a project and go to add files and it crashes as well as go to burn then crash. I'm running it on a Vista machine with 4 gig of ram and a 512 video card.
Like I said, when it works, I'm in love..I'm just afraid to buy the package and run into the same issues. Have the same issues with video studio 11 plus. My goal is to edit my HDV footage from my canon HV20 Edit in HDV and then output to HD on a standard DVD to play on my HDDVD player (Toshiba) I know video studio will let me do all this but I have yet got it to work as well when it does, it only does standard def DVD ( I assume it's only the demo)
Are there any issues with the trial copies? WOuld VS11 Plus be my best bet to do what I want?
ANy help would be great

Are you saying that it sometimes crashes just when opening MovieFactory?
If so are you running any other programs at the same time?
It is possible you have a faulty installation. Use Control Panel and uninstall and then re-install.
If you intend to edit your videos then VideoStudio may be more suitable for your needs.
