inserted pictues sideways (some)

Post by brucefl »

I am inserting pictures into the timeline. Originally they were sideways, but I changed them.
When I insert them into VS 11, they are sideways?
Is this because of the original picture, or in a preference?
Can it be fixed easily?
thanks Bruce

It seems that your changed images were not saved as such. The images "thumbnails" are just links to the original images. How did you rotate and save them? Sometimes the changes that Windows default program, Windows Picture and Fax viewer makes is not saved. Try using an image editing program like PI, or whatever one you like to rotate and then save.

You can rotate each image by using the rotation buttons, (ones with the arrows above the 90) located on the image tab.

PI11/batch command/save as

Post by brucefl »

I rotated them in PI11, then reduced the size of the picture (they were too big) did this with batch command, then did a save as (put them in a different folder) they were originaly on a cd.
If I open PE8.6 , the thumbnails look right, if I double click them they are ok.
