Ah, but is it vice versa? Has anyone out there managed to install the hybrid version of Final Cut Pro on a normal PC i.e. not one of the hybrid Intel Macs???

Well, to admit one thing.
I was joking saying installing "Final Cut" on a PC.
Reason was Final Cut is about $1200 bucks, no I don't have it, but answering yes would mean I do.

VS in a VM application, yes.
You can install VS in most VM machines and it will run.
You have to make sure the VM program can allocate at least 256megs or higher to the OS.
Performance is not really what I call good, and there are hardware limitations in all VM programs.
