Hi,
I want to upgrade from my VS9 to the latest VS11 or whatever it is, but its very confusing with the plus, power pack and other confusing names.
Would someone please identify what the latest VS11 is called and what it includes in the way of patches or whatever. All I need is enough info to order the latest complete software.
Is a VS12 imminent, that ties all this stuff together in one package?
Thanks

What constitutes the latest VS11?

But the path to upgrading to VS11.5 via Corel is paved with good intentions, but scattered with difficulties largely of Corel's own making.
In fact, to upgrade, you will need to buy the upgrade to VS11/11+ == at least it seems that this is the way Corel is currently doing it until they have a full boxed release of VS11.5 as a stand-alone program (if in fact they intend to produce such a beast before they bring out VS12, probably around April next year). Now with the link(s) they provide for that, you should get the main program file, plus an Extra Contents file (which amongst other things contains the bulk of necessary templates, SmartSound and the like -- in other words, an essential part of the package). And there should be a third file with Bonus Features which are not at all necessary for VS to work properly and fully.
The problem so far is that Corel seems not to provide the latter two links to a lot of people and they have to chase them with Corel.
Anyway, once you have obtained and downloaded these various files, you install VS11+. Then you should either be provided further links, or find them yourself on the Ulead.com website under the Download tab across the top of the web page. You choose Update Packs and navigate to VS11. There are two things on that page. At the bottom is a patch to correct various deficencies in VS11. Install that first. Then install the Power Pack which is above it. And that converts VS11 into VS11.5!! Voilà!!!
