How to remove timestamp on videos imported from video cam

Post by armadillo.mx »

:(
anybody knows how to stop videostudio from adding the video shoot timestamp to every video added to the gallery?

I've noticed that this happens only to videos imported from my video cam, with other videos works just fine it doesn't add the timestamp

Help please!!

My understanding is that it's a setting in your video camera.

Do a forum search on "Timestamp"

The problem is that when the imported videos are played in windows media or any other player the time stamp doesn't appear

just until they're added as part of the video library for editing the date and time stamp appears

what can be ?

This has been asked before.
Whilst some programs appear to be able to ignore the time stamp the only way to do so with VideoStudio is to turn it off with your camcorders settings.

ok, i'll try to search for that function in the cam corder, and test this way

If somebody have another way to solve this, i'll aprecciate it

Thank you!

Just put the word timestamp (no spaces) into the search engine and select VideoStudio from the drop down list and you will find 35 matches.
