Can't get this option to work. All I get is the dotted line rectangle in the Preview mode but the picture does not fade out.
Any thoughts?

- First you need to make a selection of the part or all of your image. Select>Select All.
- Then Right-click and select Convert to Object.
- Now use the Edit>Fade out.
- Adjust the percentages and the direction for your fade.
- Click OK
