freezing

I am using V4 cd & dvd picture show and after making any alterations to my picture show the program freezes. I have been told that certain software programs on my computer will conflict with ulead and may be the fault ?. Would appreciate some help to overcome this constant problem Regards lanna

You need to tell us something about your source files, where have they come from, type (e.g. DV / MPEG2 / DivX / Still images - JPG / BMP etc)
What sort of sound is being used e.g. WAV / MP3

2. Try converting the MP3 files to WAV with Audacity

I just encountered similar problem when i try to add more jpg pictures to an existing, ie. my v4 PictureShow crashes. Pls advise.

How are you attempting to add the extra pictures, the correct way would be to open the original project file with all of your existing material intact in their original locations and then add new material.

Yes I open the original project file with all current materials in their original location then when I add a new material I get this error signature:
AppName: dvdps.exe AppVer: 4.0.0.0 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00620069

Also, I just tried on a new project file and encounter the same fate!
