VS9 and Cool3d

Post by bobfrank »

I thought I read either here on the forums or on Ulead's web site that Cool3d 3.5 was included with VS9. All I got was Cool3d 3.0, which I already had from previous VS versions.

Was C3d 3.5 susposed to be included or was someone just hoping and guessing?

I'm starting to wonder if I was just dreaming or if I really read it somewhere.

Looks like I should have come here and checked first :(

I just purcahsed the VS9 upgrade, expecting to get at least Cool3D 3.5 SE, as that is what it says in the PDF feature document on the main site. But alas, I also only have downloaded Cool3d 3.0SE.

Document http://www.ulead.com/vs/vs9_features.pdf say
· Ulead Cool 3D 3.5 SE allows you to create high-impact 3D
images. Output these 3D images as still graphics,
animations, video or Macromedia® Flash™. Version 3.5
boasts more input and output options than any 3D program
in its class.
but I have got 3.0 too :(

Igor

Thanks. I knew I had read it somewhere. Now, at least, I know I'm not going crazy.

Hi, did anybody receive response from Ulead on this? I have submitted a question via ulead.com but no answer yet (about 30 hours ago).

As of yesterday (19 Apr) in Melbourne Australia, Ulead was still promoting C3D 3.5SE as an inclusion with VS9. The information was given at the VS9 launch seminar conducted last night.

Time for Ulead to deliver what it advertised!

Still no update from Ulead on this one. I have submitted another query and will raise the question at this afternoon's launch seminar in Sydney.

Anybody else seen action on this issue?
