Movie Wizard

Post by randazzo »

Reading all the messages about downloading. I'm so glad I bought the box version. Worked like a breeze.

Overall I think VS9 is an improvement. While with VS8 all the bonus material had to be copied VS9 does this automatically.

I noticed an improved Movie Wizard. Not bad at all to get fast nice looking results! And you can fine-tune it in the editor. There are even templates for slide shows. VS9 contains more templates available than VS8. Strange enough not all the VS8 templates are available in VS9. A few of them I liked and I use the wedding template a lot.

Is it possible to copy the Video-Wizard templates from VS8 to VS9?

Aren't vfx files the videofilters?
How did you copy the Movie-Wizard templates? Where are they located?

Do they show up as available templates in the Movie Wizard?

Thanks in advance.

The vfx files I needed to copy were the burger transitions. When I installed VS9, the burger files disappeared. I kept a back-up copy and copied them to VS9........I haven't look at the Movie Wizard templates, I would think they would have the same ones as in Video Editor.

They're different from the ones in VS8. Their more to begin with but strange enough a few from VS8 (just the ones I liked) have vanished.

The chapters that you liked in VS8, I believe can be found in a folder named "Samples" in VS8.

Copy then paste in the appropriate folder in VS9.

Also, in VS9, Ulead has a short video of Family Memories. I copied a couple of the video clips / masks that were not in the Library of VS9.

Let us finish this discussion. My question was about the Movie Wizard editing styles. Not transitions, not chapters not family memories.
