Capturing problem with Pasasonic Camera

Post by mikemonteiro »

I have a problem I never had before, for some reason i can no longer capture with my camera, the message is the I either don't have any drivers installed or my device is not connected. Now I've reinstalled ulead video studion 11.0 and retried and received the same message. the strange thing is that I captured a movie earlier in the day. Any suggestions.

thanks in advance

All you have told us is that you have some sort of camera (type, make, model, method of connection to computer unspecified) and VS11 (Plus? With update patch? With Power Pack?) and it can't capture. We aren't mind readers. Read the Stick Post at the head of this forum which says 'Read This Before Posting' and then come back with the required information...

And one more thing, if it worked before but suddenly it doesn't, why do you suspect VS?

Can you capture with a different program? Does Windows even see your camera?

If a car all of a sudden stops running, the tank is near full, do you expect there is something wrong with the petrol?

Again, would you mind letting us in on the secret? If you fixed it maybe it would be helpful to someone else.

Don't worry, he probably just rediscovered the power switch on his Panasonic, or rebooted his pc. Obviously too embarrassed to tell us all about it! It could be one for the archives of famous flamers, perhaps, and Steve could write a tutorial on it.
