Hello everyone...
Just making sure I have this straight. When you burn your final output or copy to DVD, you "SHOULD NOT" have anything in the timeline but when your done editing and create your Video File, your project "SHOULD" be in the timeline...Is this correct??? Thanks to all, Dan

Hi Dan
Your PROJECT should NOT be in the timeline.
1/ ‘capture your video’
2/ ‘edit’
3/ ‘Share’ create video file
4/ start a NEW project using the same settings as the video created above.
5/ there are no clips in the timelines.
6/ Go to ‘Share’ ‘Create disc’
7/ ‘ADD VIDEO' the file you made in (3).
After setting your menu options you finally get to the last window
When you select ‘Output’
VS should start the burn process without rendering.
You will get a short period of ‘multiplexing’ but this is part of the burn process.

Read my quick guides avi and mpeg from the link below.
Hope this helps
