Video Studio 10 bonus
I am unable to view or open the files on the bonus disk marked 'introduction video, get error saying proper codec may not be installed? I have downloaded the patch for vista and installed it. Should I have access to these files?

Welcome to the forums..
They may not if you do not have the Indeo-5 codec installed. This was pulled some time ago. Ulead's sample clips at one time, in version 8 I believe, used this codec. Then Ligos took over the Indeo codec. They now charge a few for this. You can obtain this codec by clicking on the Ligos name, which is a link to the Ligos.com website.
You might be able to locate an older version of the Indeo Codec on the internet for free. However be careful, as with free codecs you don't know what you're getting, and may mess up your video editing applications.

Whilst you say you have VideoStudio 10, this also applies to VideoStudio 11 which was written as a Vista compatible program.
All of the bonus material will work with XP.
Some of the bonus material will not work with Vista.
This is normal and not a fault, it is due to the fact that certain things do not work with Vista - why - well you will need to ask Bill Gates to answer that one, for reasons of their own Microsoft have dropped certain formats from their new operating system.
