Failure to burn to DVD

Post by KenGroves »

Have been having trouble with VideoStudio 10 for some time and Techs informed me to uninstall and install. This was done ad nausium and I gave up using the software about 12 months ago.
I have started another slide show project and whilst it works well on the computer I still cannot get it to burn to disc. Message reads "Failed to burn onto the disc (534:- 2147216291:0). Am burning for PAL system.
Using DVD-R discs and have changed brands but to no avail.
Can anybody assist please?

At what stage of the burning process are you getting that error message?

also

Are you moving stright to the "share" after editing?

also

What are your project settings?

This will do for a stat.

You filled out some of your PC specs but might be helpful knowing how much RAM you have.

Thanks

Thanks for the prompt replies Clevo and sjj1805.
As detailed in the Playback issues it was the burning speed that was causing the problems. I had dropped it back to 8x but when I went back to a burning speed of 4x, everything worked properly.
Thanks again, I should not have waited 12 months before speaking with the experts eh!
