Errors when capturing video from Canon ZR30MC

Post by dimaulead »

Hi all,

I tried using Ulead VideoStudio SE 5.0 to capture video from my Canon digital camcoder. The camcoder seems to be recognized by Windows. When I click on the "Capture Video" button, the camcoder starts running automatically (it is ON and is in the VCR mode) but right away I get the following error messages:

1st error:
Failed to build a preview graph.
Failed in capturing
The created file is corrupt and unusable.
It will automatically be deleted.

2nd error after click OK button:
Setting the capture preview mode error.
Check if your capture driver is working properly.
Failed to build a preview graph.
[15001:33:1]
[15023:4:2]

After I click OK to the last error message, nothing happens.

I would appreciate any help as for now - nothing seems to work...

Thanks,
Dima

Try using this for capturing. Import the captured footage into VS for editing and authoring. That is quite an old version you have, the newer ones will have a lot more functionality.
