Nature of the problem: I have already burned a working copy of my slideshow onto a CD but wanted to go back and make some changes and then burn a second revised copy. However, after editing the slideshow (and enduring many crashes), I saved the slide show one last time. Oh-oh, the CD wouldn't burn and worse, when I tried re-opening the slide show it was blank.
How can I recover my slide show from the burned copy of the CD or do I have to start over again?
Output format -- SVCD
Error Codes -- filename.DPS is invalid
The original slideshow had 200 images along with 4 music clips. Current size is now just 1.6 mb so pieces got lost in the save?

The slide show on your SVCD no longer comprises of still images they have been converted into videos. Perhaps you need to simply keep the existing slide show and start another new one.
It is possible to import the slide show (video) as a video and use that in a future project but by doing so you will be reducing the quality of an already highly compressed video format.
