Newbie VIDEOSTUDIO Audio Question

Post by col1969 »

hi folks.

sorry for the dup post, wrong product - yes I am using VIDEOSTUDIO!

I'm an amateur musician & just about completed my first vid made up of loads of youtube clips. However when I export the final project, the audio sounds terrible, much worse than when i listen to it in preview. Ive muted all the associted audio tracks that come with the vid clips so that the only audio playing is my mp3 but don't get it.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I want to stick my vid on youtube etc with max pic quality & obviously max audio quality, so which settings should i be using and why does the audio quality sound so crap when i play the 'finalised' vid ?

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers,

Col

Which version of VideoStudio - there have been 11.
The latest version 11.5 has a built in function for sending video to YouTube
VS11.5+: Load Directly to YouTube?
Alternatively you can use the settings in this link
Making and Sharing VideoStudio Movie Templates
also
VideoStudio: Rendering for You Tube.

Some people have problems with certain types of MP3s. Try converting your MP3 to a WAV file and see if that fixes it.

thanks for the reply Black Lab, I'll try that.

sjj its version 11.5 Plus. I did notice the Youtube function but I only wanted to audition the pics & audio as it's at a 'first draft' stage.

Thanks again
