Apart from providing that information Steve has requested, you are having trouble with an mp3 codec, which is what l3codeca.acm is. While it is compatible with Microsoft systems, it is fairly limited in what it can do. I am pretty sure that it is not installed by Video Studio, which is moreover pretty particular about what sort of mp3 encoded material it will play (there is a wide variety of mp3 codecs, and VS does not like some of them). I suspect this one was installed by another program, and music/audio mp3 you have produced using that program and inserted in VS has caused it to have a heart attack!!

If this in fact describes what you have done, then the usual solution is to recode that audio into standard .wav format and use that instead in VS.
