Blending clips-overlaping them. Plus stop Library animation

Post by westlight »

In another video editing program I was able to click and drag one clip over the adjoining clip so that they would blend or transition from one to the other. I can't seem to do this in VideoStudio 11 Plus. What am I missing?

Also, Is there a way to turn of the animation of the "Effects" in the Library?

Thanks! David

Just drag the "Crossfade" transition (under FX) between the two clips.

Don't know of any way to stop the animation.

The crossfade transition would be the normal route. But depending on what you are doing, you could also put clip 1 in the main video track and clip 2 in one of the overlay tracks (if you have the Plus version) and drag the latter so that its start slightly overlaps clip 1's end...
