I have reinstalled PI 11 on my computer - loaded all the presets that I want to use. I have Vista Home Premium. It is working fine (installed under Admin.) but, when I go to download the patch: Update Patch 1 Build #11.0.0.1 - a window pops up and tells me that PI is not installed. Well - it is and complete, purchased version of PI 11. The first patch downloaded fine.
What do I do?

Several possibilities:
1. Your PhotoImpact is already been patched, thus no need to patch again. Select Help->About in the menu to see the version of your PI. If it's 11.0.0.1 then you don't need to apply the patch.
2. Your PhotoImpact might not be installed properly and need to do a reinstall. Before you do the reinstall, make sure you have turned off the User Access Control option in Control Panel->Account. You can turn it back after your install and patch PhotoImpact 11 successfully. This trick would be extremely useful if your program is not designed for Vista but for XP/2000 and you still wish to install it.
3. Your PhotoImpact is a special version which cannot install the patch, but I think this might not be the case.
