VS9 MPEG4 Plug-in
I purchased the MPEG4 plug-in about 4 months ago. Have not used it yet, and now it appears a new one is required for VS 9. Perhaps this time I will wait to buy the plug-in only when/if I need it.

No Upgrade??
Ive just upgraded to V9
However, where is my upgrade for the plugins? Do I have to purchase at full price again?
Kind of makes the upgrade more and more expensive each time....or is there an upgrade page I cant see somewhere for plugins??
TT

Speedy2 ,
The plug-ins differ from the extra "free" content. You have to purchase them. They add additional functionality to the original product. The MPEG4 plug-in requires a license fee be paid by Ulead. If they had included it with every single copy of VS they would have had to pay the licensing fee for every copy they sold driving up the cost. Most people don't need the MPEG4 codec so they offer it as a plug-in to those who want to pay the extra fee.
Ballistik,
Ii should be available if it's installed as a codec. Matter of fact it should be available for any programthat uses the mpeg4 codec. unless they made the plugin work specifically for VS8. Have you looked to see if it's available?
