I just "Killed two birds with one stone"
I installed Cool3DPS onto my Vista Home Premium laptop, created a very short clip to test tA forum members problem and then used VideoStudio 11.5 to test out the new "Upload to YouTube" function.
Here is the result - nothing fancy - only last a few seconds.

Basically how I got mine to work was this.
I had already installed the previously mentioned d3drm.dll file whilst trying to get DVD Workshop 2 to work on Vista (Still working on that one)
I have the Upgrade version of Cool 3D Production Studio and so I had to firstly install from my VideoStudio 9 set up discs, Cool3D 3.0 SE
(You must also reboot the computer after installing it)
Interestingly despite a couple of error messages which I simply ignored I found that this program was usable on my copy of Vista.
I then installed the Cool3DPS Upgrade having set the installation program
C3DS1_ESD_UPG.exe to compatibility mode for XP SP2, and also selected "Run as Administrator" - I did this by right clicking the file, selecting 'properties' and then choosing the Compatibility tab.
