can i attach then play audio files such as wav. files in gif animator?
if so how?

Gif Animator is not a media player, it's a program to create gif graphics. The gif format is used in html documents and does not allow, AFAIK, for a sound file to be embedded.

You can, however, create a video from your animated gif and apply a sound track to that using a video editing program like VideoStudio or the Windows Movie Maker.

The only option in GA 5 that allows adding audio is to save your animation as an .exe file.

There used to be a tutorial for this, but that website is no longer up.
