4GB Filesplit while using NTFS Filesystem

Post by claus.finze@dawavision.de »

Hello Everybody,
with Version VS10Plus I had not trouble with storing my videos in Files larger than 4GB. After Upgrading to VS11+ my stored files are splitted into fragments of 4GB.
The same behaviour is with VS10+ and VS11+ on Vista. I installed all latest Patches (also from November 6 for VS11+)
Does anybody now about this Problem ?
Is there a way within setup that I did not see ?

Thanks,
Claus

Strange!
Can you confirm that ALL drives that VS is either resident on or may be accessing for any reason are NTFS and NOT Fat32?

Yes for sure, all drives are NTFS. The same computer with the same drives running XP with VS10+ works fine and with VS11+ the 4GB Split is done.

I captured 2 13Gig files.
1 - DV Type 1
1 - DV Type 2

I would make sure to download & install the latest version of DirectX 9.0c released in November 2007.
