Problem: Incapable of Using Transitions in Overlay tracks

Post by RagonichaFulva »

Hi everyone!

I am working with Ulead Video Studio Pro 10 and I am going to update to Ulead VS 11 Pro.

I am working with two scenes in Overlay track 2 and I am using Chroma effect to use the video track as the background. I need to make a transition between these two clips in the overlay track 1, but the program doesn't allow me to drag a transition effect there, while it does allow me to move it into the video track (which I don't need).

I wonder if I can solve this issue with the update to Ulead VS 11 or if I am doing something wrong.

I would be most grateful for any help or assistance you could provide me.

You not are doing anything wrong. VS does not support transitions on the overlay tracks. As an an alternate solution, create the effect you want as a seperate file, then add that file to your main project.

Yes, the Powers That Be have repeatedly ignored this very popular feature request. One of the reasons I refuse to upgrade anymore.

Thank you very much!

It's a pity that the program doesn't allow you to make such a useful thing... how come?
