VS9 Info

Post by Rich2Putt »

Received / install VS9 yesterday. The installation was flawless on both CD’s.
What I found so far:
•A welcomed addition to several more Titles/Chapters
•Titles are now automated if you so chose. Uses an additional 18MB for a 30sec video
•The icons in Transitions are a little different, but are the same effects as VS8
•The Mask & Flashback adds to VS9 tool box
•Unfortunately there were no additional “Smart Sound” music :(
•The one slight flaw was if you’re in “DV to DVD Wizard” or in “Movie Wizard” I could not find a short cut to go directly to “VS Editor”. You need to close out from the first two to get to VS Editor. Again I only experimented with VS9 for a couple of hours and am impressed from what I used so far.

I received the package today. Looks good. One big advantage. All the extra's (video's, jpg's, frames etc.) are automatically installed. With VS8 everything had to be copied manually.

I'm glad I ordered the box versoin. No hassles!

I like the extra options for the second video track (masks)
