Audio doesn't get recorded

Just installed this software. I see video and I hear the sound in my pc during recording from an old VHS video tape. When I replay afterwards, the picture is perfect but there's no sound at all, apart from noise.

What can this be ? Do I remove all audio stuff from the Device manager and re install perhaps ?

Sound is on board of my Gigabyte GA-7VAXP.
I use a Terratec Gramster AV200 between video machine and AMD AThlon 2200+ computer.

Have been altering all sorts of possibilities for days now... Going crazy...

Make sure whatever audio input your using is enabled in the soundcard configuration.

Right-click on Speaker in System-tray and check Recording properties (shouldn't be muted).
