WinDVD serial number ?

Post by AmuroRey »

I'm a long time customer of WinDVD 6/7/8 and unfortunatly I have no copy of my activatio code dor WinDVD 8 because I always used the InterVideo Members page.
After Corel aquire InterVideo the Members page are not more available so I can't reach again my activation codes
I asked to Corel Support but after many days and after I sent to Corel support my receipt of what I payed for WinDVD 8 the support continue to tell me that they can't give me again my activation code !
WHY ?
Is that a "normal" support from Corel ?
I payed and Corel lost all the dates of my InterVideo products ?
Thanks COREL !

I have all my purchases registered with Ulead and I can get my serial numbers from the web site. Now that Ulead belongs to Corel, after having been acquired by InterVideo first, I can still see all my registered products on the Corel site. The original log-in you used in the past should get you redirected to the Corel site where you can view your registered products. Have you tried that?

Even though I registered my products on their web site, that doesn't mean they have details of my serial numbers stored anywhere else. All the software they sell is not traced back to the purchaser. All they know is which serial numbers were registered. They don't know who registered them and, hence, they cannot tell you what your serial number is. Even if they could, who would pay for the costs to retrieve this information? All users? Surely not. It is the purchasers responsibility to look after their purchases, receipts and what ever else is pertinent to the working of that. If you have lost it, too bad, nobody will be able to tell you what these codes were. Sorry.

I already tryed to log on with my original username and pasw and I can go inside by if I choose to see all my previous InterVideo products there are nothing !
But all my previous version of WinDVD 6 / 7 / 8 all was regular registered.
In the old InterVideo Members site I can retrive all my serial numbers WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS !
Only in Corel site I have all that problem, and not for I my mistake but I think that during the traslation from InterVideo to Corel someone have loose all my InterVideo date and all my serial number and I DON'T WANT TO PAY AGAIN FOR SOMETHING that I have ALREADY PAYED !
I can't understand WHY also after the proof of my regular licence via the pay receipt of my WinDVD 8 copy, COREL support continue to don't give me a serial number.
I think that the only solution is to DON'T PAY nothing more and take a NON regular copy via BitTorrent if that was the support from Corel ...
And if that is how an old customer is deal !

ByeBye COREL

To be fair to the poster I have logged into my Corel User account which lists all my Ulead Software but none of my Intervideo Software.

I would be interested to hear if anyone else can actually log in and retrieve Intervideo Software information. A visit to
http://www.intervideo.com/jsp/Members.jsp
Simply re-directs to the Corel Account log in screen.

Once again I can only stress the need to follow my advice given here:
Lost Serial numbers and software

missing intervideo serial key

Post by Leiger »

Based on my friend working with Ulead and Corel for quite sometime and this issue was really taking numbers when it comes on their CS support queue. The only way you can sort this problem out is to contact or email Corel customer service. Please make sure to include your order id number (can be found on your confirmation email) and the registered email address used to purchase the program when emailing Corel CS. You can send them email by logging-in to your account.

You can also contact Corel customer service support. For a list of contact number, please refer on the following link.
