Ulead Product Registration - What have Corel done with it?

Post by davidhaynes »

Hi All

Can't find the download for the VS11+ Power Pack - not sure if it is the Ulead VideoStudio 11 Update Pack (Release Date: 2007/11/6) on the Updates page. Any ideas?

Has anyone been able to view there registered product list via the Corel web site? The site gives me a login error and states that my email address is valid and belongs to an account and that I should contact customer support. But you can't contact Customer Support without logging in!

Thanks
David

The power pack is most definitely different from the update patch. The latter is free and is designed to fix a number of bugs and problems. The power pack has a number of new features, and may be free to registered users of VS11 (though this is yet to be confirmed); or otherwise it will cost US$19.99 or Pounds Stg 9.99...

And no one, least of all Corel, seems to know what is happening with the touted VS11.5, which was supposed to appear yesterday, but didn't; and which they themselves announced would be free to registered users of VS11, but are now apparently saying it will not be... The British website says the upgrade will be Pounds Stg 34.99 for the download version and, curiously enough, Pounds 34.03 for the boxed version. But it still says "Coming soon" despite Corel's own announcement of a 6 November launch date.

As for the Corel website, yes, no problem logging on and accessing my registration details. I also did it via the Ulead website...

Regarding VideoStudio 11.5 + and also the Power pack, Ken speaks for all the Moderators and Forum Administrators, we have discussed this 'behind closed doors' and none of us here are any wiser. I have sent an email to Corel expressing our concerns.

Regarding problems logging into your registered product list on the Corel site please view Corel / Ulead / Intervideo Merged User Data
