Flash Animation Problem

Post by Adie »

Hi,

I have a problem with adding flash animation to my Video.

If I select a animation from the library and drag it to overlay timeline etc

I get an error message

The contents of this file is unreadable

C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio 11\Samples\Video\MotionF17.swf

This happens for all the animations that come with VS11plus.

If I navigate to the above directory, I can run the .swf files in IE so the files are not corrupt.

Has any encountered same problem or can advise me on how to rectify.

Any help would be appreciated.

VS11plus
Vista Home Premium
Adobe Flash Player 9 ActiveX and Adobe Flash Player ActiveX listed under installed progrms via control panel.

At some point you may have updated your Flash player. Try reinstalling the version that came with VS.

Same problem

I have the same problem. I'm sure it stems from an upgrade of flash as I ran into the same problem with VS9. When I contacted Ulead they acted as if my complaint was without merit. To 'cure' the issue, I had to roll back flash to an earlier version. Then months later, Ulead came out with a patch. The problem with rolling back to an earlier version of flash is that it causes problems with some websites you try to view. The sites require that you upgrade to the latest version of flash. The patch for VS11 should have upgraded VS11 to be compatible with the latest flash installations!

Flash frustration

I agree! I am constantly coming to websites requiring me to upgrade Flash player in order to view desired content. I have to choose between using VS10+ flash features or losing it due to upgrading flash.
