Google of course has nothing to do, even vaguely, as far as I am aware, with Video Studio...

Can you tell use where your original video came from, and its properties please. Right click on one of the original files within Video Studio and copy down all its properties here.

Then you need to tell us what editing your did, step by step. And then what Video File you were trying to create.

Can you sucessfully narrate over a mic using a third party audio editing program? If not then there is obviously some hardware problem intervening. Sometimes, you need to use LINE-IN for the microphone connection rather than MIC, for instance.

I never use the inbuilt audio recording functions of Video Studio to do my voice-over narration -- not because it does not work, but because if I use another program ("third party audio editing system" -- I should have said "program" instead of "system"). In fact, I use the Nero Wave Editor, but any other specific audio editing program will give you far more options than the Video Studio module. I record my voice-overs as .wav files, trim them as needed, vary the volume in the Nero program, then simply insert them in the timeline of VS...

What I really wanted to know is whether it is only VS which cannot seem to record, or can you record your voice using some other program? If you can't, then we will know it is some other problem, and not specific only to VS.

High Ken, This is the 4th time I've tried to reach you ,the page indicates 'sent' but nothing in my "Out Box"--To my problem--I am able to hear music inserted into the A/M T/Line using the VS program as well as Windows "make a movie" Using the latter I connected a cable from my Radio to the mic input socket > narrate --a response was seen on the volume control -> stop narration-->save --A wave form appeared on the A/M T/Line but no Music ! Can you help please ? Flossi
