To Assist members identify the various ranks and associated powers conferred the following is an explanation of the various ranks used on this User to User Web Board.

Administrators
Administrators are people assigned the highest level of control over the entire board. These people can control all facets of board operation, which include setting permissions, banning users, creating user groups or moderators, etc. They also have full moderator capabilities in all the forums.
These users when logged on will appear in red on the Who is Online screen. They can also be identified by the word "Site Admin" appearing below the space reserved for a users avatar.

Moderators
Moderators are individuals (or groups of individuals) whose job it is to look after the running of the forums from day to day. They have the power to edit or delete posts and lock, unlock, move, delete and split topics in the forum they moderate. They also have the power to issue warnings and if necessary ban users.
Generally moderators are there to prevent people going off-topic or posting abusive or offensive material.They have a say in forum policy and when competitions are held they help decide any tie-break situations. These users when logged on will appear in green on the Who is Online screen.

Moderators can enforce their powers across all forums but will have been given specific responsibility for one or more particular forums.
The forum that an individual Moderator has responsibility for can be seen on the front page of the User Board. They can also be identified by the word "Moderator" appearing below the space reserved for a users avatar.

Advisor's.
Advisor's are members who regularly participate in the forum. They are knowledgeable about at least one forum related product and offer advice to other members. When a vacancy occurs in the Moderators forum they will be drawn from this group.
